We have been rehearsing our revised version of Geometric City at the beautiful Shoreditch Town Hall, and visiting arts venues across London.
At the end of February we performed our full length family show, Geometric City, to a wonderful audience at The Cockpit Theatre for their family shows program. We had adults, kids and even teenagers attend, and the feedback was really positive. Audience members travelled from near and far to come and support-From around London, Southampton and even Bristol. We'd like to say a huge thank you to those who came and watched, as well as the staff at The Cockpit who made us feel very welcome. After beginning our journey at their Theatre in the Pound night exactly a year ago, it seemed only fitting that our first full length show would be to return there and perform the full piece.
We also visited The Arthouse, and what a lovely little venue it is. Located in Crouch End, North London, it predominantly shows films but also has various kids clubs, events and shows on. If you are based in or around N8, do make a visit and support the local art centre.
We've also been busy individually, Emily has been all around London reviewing shows, Natalie has been running workshops with both children and adults in not only London but as far afield as Brighton and Soniya has been adjusting back into the London life by learning a new skill-roller skating! She also has a few shows booked-The Elephant Man at The Haymarket and the brilliant Closer at The Donmar Warehouse. London isn't London without a bit of west end theatre thrown in!
As a collective, we are really excited about the up coming Illuminate Festival at The New Wimbledon Studio. We are performing seven shows across the whole festival so please do come and support not only us, but all the other new work that will be shown. Tickets can be purchased here-
