New projects, new adventures!

Cindy is trying to work out where in the world she is going!
But this time her adventure is without her best pal Bridget :(
This month we are one member down as we see our Soniya venturing off to the other side of the world for some adventures in Australia, Fiji and New Zealand-No doubt she will be hugging koala bears, jumping out of planes and coming back with dreadlocks and tie dye tshirts having 'found herself' whilst backpacking around.

Whilst she is away, however, work doesn't stop for the company, and we are focusing on creating a new project 'Grandmas Dish'-This will be a show aimed more for our adult audience, where Grandma will enlighten them about some of the adventures she's been on in her very long but very interesting life. While our Natalie transforms into Grandma, there might not have to be much change happen-as we know she loves a good cuppa and a chinwag in her pjs!

We are also focusing on funding-We have been really lucky so far to have received a grant from Farnham Maltings but we would love to gain funding to help us on tour next year. We hope to tour Geometric City to schools and arts venues around London and the UK next autumn. We begin next year by performing this show at The Cockpit Theatre at the end of February-In conjunction with their kids club on Saturday mornings. If you've missed out on seeing us before, why not come along? You can buy tickets here-  http://www.thecockpit.org.uk/show/geometric_city

If you work at an arts venue, school or kids club and are interested in having us perform for you, or even run some workshops, please drop us a message via our contact page. Our show is predominantly aimed at Key Stages 1-2 (Ages 4-11) but we can entertain older children and adults too! Remember to follow us on Facebook or find us on Instagram or Twitter @MouldedTheatre where you can find out how the funding applications are going, and how Grandma is getting on.

So October flew by for Moulded-We started the month at Shaky Isles New Writing Night which was a really fantastic evening of new writing and devised shows. It was inspiring to see so much great work from young upcoming artists.

We then performed in front of 400 children at The Willow Primary School, Tottenham-Our first full performance of Geometric City in front of an audience. And what an audience it was-The children were engaged with the show and interacting whenever they got the opportunity to. They loved the creatures that we had created, and certainly enjoyed Cindy and Bridget’s mishaps during their adventure. All in all it was a really enjoyable afternoon and the children were thoroughly entertained.

We finished October with a few performances of Geometric City at The Pleasance Theatre, in North London. We had a really lovely family watch our dress rehearsal in the morning, a full audience of all ages in the afternoon, and a predominantly adult audience in the evening. The show went down really well with both children and adults, and we received really positive feedback on both showings. You can see some of the feedback and a clip of the show on our Productions page-Just look at our current production, Geometric City. Thank you to everyone that came and gave us feedback for the show-We take all notes on board and appreciate all comments. We were also photographed by Tom at the brilliant Bobbin Productions and you can see snaps of the show here-www.bobbinproductions.com/#!theatrephotography/c1w5i

Our next venture is Grandmas Dish-A new show we are creating over the winter time. With all this cold wet weather we need an excuse to get in our comfy slippers and pjs with a nice cuppa tea, like Grandma would! Look out for updates on here, or search for us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter @mouldedtheatre.
