What is so great about festivals nowadays isn't just the a-list celebs that get booked for the main stage, but the variety of acts that get acknowledged time after time. At Glastonbury on the Sunday morning the English National Ballet performed on the Pyramid Stage and I was pleasantly shocked and surprised at just how many people turned up in support. It was great to see the arts being acknowledged at such an established venue.
It's important to also remember that there are also some festivals that focus on other things, not just music-The Big Feastival for example is full of food! Different stalls, try before you buy tasters and more. Then there are poetry festivals, literary festivals and film festivals.
MouldEd hope to be performing at some of these festivals next year, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for our work across London and the South, and maybe even further afield. If you are organising any festivals in 2015 or know anyone that is, and would like MouldEd to come and perform, and even run some workshops, just get in contact with us through our contact page. And remember to follow what we are up to on facebook and twitter!
